Does anyone have an answer for where the tarp payback money went?

The Money is paid back and is deposited in the general fund. No mystery, no secrecy. To date, over 90% of the money has been recouped by the government, and due to interest, the TARP has actually generated close to 50 million in profits for the government. All of which goes to the general fund, where Congress quickly spends it on other programs.
