What do you think George Orwell is trying to say?

I cannot really understand this quote any further then it's simple, basic meaning. Does it have a deeper meaning? "In our age there is no such thing as keeping out of politics. All issues are political issues..." - George Orwell. So if you have any ideas then thanks :-) x
