Week-long tampon...?

You should be changing your tampons more than every 8 hours, more like every 4 to reduce the risks of infections and to reduce odors. Forgetting to remove/change a tampon can cause severe infections, sometimes causing trips to hospital to have it removed because it got stuck and occasionally death.
