Is she being too nosey....?

everytime I have a date with someone my mom says they have to come in and she has to see who they are, know where we're going, and she asks them a billion questions...she also calls me all the time when we're out. She use to follow me and my dates around and chaperone us. If she's gonna let me go alone shouldn't she lighten up a bit?
