How could I convince this Catholic lad I am seeing it is ok to have premarital intimacy?

Given the high hormone drive of a young man I suppose he will be very tempted but in reality after the deed is done he may well see you in a different light and lose all respect for you, he may view your come on approach as great at the time but later on may well see you as someone without morality and or self respect.
