Is my 4 month old going to stop?

my son is 4 months old... when am i supposed to stop giving him night feedings. he doesnt have a sleeping pattern really. its always different. some nights he will go to bed at 9 and wake up at 6 or 7, then other nights he will go to bed at 10 and wake up like 4 times in the night and be up even earlier in the morning. how do i get him to follow a sleeping pattern and am i supposed to feed him when he wakes up in the night??
