Is my mom right? Should I get a reduction?

it depends on how you feel about it. i can barely fit into a dd anymore..but it doesnt really bug me..guys are going to stare at you whether you have an a cup or a dd cup, and i dont have back pain from them. so its what your happy with. definitly wait until your 18 or even a few more years before you do it. but dont do it for your mom, do it for yourself.
