Looking for intelligent men 2 answer please........?

Okay, a while ago me and my crush (don't think he knows I like him) were talking outside no one was around just us. So we talked about just random things but I noticed that when we first started to talk their was alot of space between us, and by the end of the conversation he had moved almost an arms length apart from me. A couple of days later I was walking with a little boy down the street and he came driving by stopped and out his truck window said "hey little guy" and drove off very quickly. I saw him again just a few days ago and........ nothing he did't even make eye contact with me, he just explained a few things to me about water leakage (because I asked him) and left. WTF I thaught he liked me, like I like him or you know wanted to get to know me or something, at first he kinda acted that way right??? and then nothing! Let me explain I am sooooo into this guy I will say anything just to talk to him. I don't really know why he gave me a cold shoulder??
